European History Homework
Choose One of the following tasks and have it ready for next week
1. Be an artist: Draw a self-portrait, family portrait, or picture of a family member. The Renaissance period was full paintings and sketches commissioned by kings and popes.
2. Be an investigator: Research your family history. Where are they from? What does your last name mean? What are some family traditions that your family practices?
3. Be a writer: Write a one page paper on a family story. Do you have a story teller in your family? Think about the Orators for the Greek Age. Are there any big fish stories or other tails that are almost too crazy to be true? Did anything funny or dramatic ever happen you one of you family members?
4. Be a builder: Build a family tree. Try to talk to some of the oldest members of you family and see how far beck you can trace your background. What were your ancestor's names? When did they live? How are you related to them?
5. Be a Bible scholar: Write about the relationship between Sir Thomas More, Desiderius Erasmus, and the Bible. How were these thinkers similar to the Bible's teachings? How are they different? One page please.
